San Francisco Shakespeare Festival

Shakespeare’s quintessential comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, provides an excellent example of his fun-loving humor and lovely, evocative language. On Saturday, November 3rd, join us for a special performance as the SF Shakespeare Festival presents one of the Bard’s best-loved plays!

Art Lecture: Annie Leibovitz: A Photographer’s Life, 1990-2005

One of the most celebrated photographers of our time, Annie Leibovitz has been making witty, powerful images documenting American popular culture since the early 1970s. This lecture encompasses both professional work that Leibovitz made on assignment and personal photographs of her family and friends.
Speaker: De Young Museum Docent Mina Shea.

Diwali

A special Diwali celebration with the Natyalaya Kuchipudi School of Dance, who will be performing a classical dance form from South India.
